It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Boles announces his passing after a long battle with cancer, on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the age of 66 years.
Richard will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Cathy, and his children, Stacie (Darryl), Stephanie (Veeman), and Melissa. Richard will also be fondly remembered by his nine grandchildren, Kyle (Megan), Hannah (Brady), Jacob, Christian, Ashlinn, Jenna, Zachary, as well as his three brothers, Leland Jr. (Valerie), Ronald (Judy), Jerry (Karin); his sister, Patricia (Scott), and sister-in-law, Carol Bales. Numerous nieces and nephews will miss him greatly, including Jason and Margie Bale, as well as several very close family friends. Richard was predeceased by his father, Leland Orie Boles Sr., and his mother, Viola Strecker.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Richard will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Echoes From Calvary Church, 1025 Post Dr., Salinas, with his son-in-law, Rev. Veeman Lout officiating. Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
