Robert Lewis "Rob" Cribbs

1965 - 2022

Robert "Rob" Lewis Cribbs, 56, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on August 7, 2022, at Penn Highlands DuBois in DuBois, PA.

He was born on August 10, 1965, and was the son of Arthur C. and Louise "Bucky" (Notto) Cribbs in DuBois, PA.

Rob graduated from Jeff Tech with the Class of 1983. After he graduated, he began his working career and was most recently a heavy equipment operator at P&N Coal. Rob was very active within his community. He was a member of the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles #540. He was also a lifelong member of the Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Company; he held numerous positions within the board over the years. Rob volunteered with Make-a-Wish and with the special needs fishing rodeo. Rob was a very caring person and will be missed by everyone that knew him. For the past nine years, Rob made sure his mom ate her lunch everyday while in the nursing home. He was the best uncle that his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews could have asked for. He spent every Christmas morning visiting all of them to play with their new toys. Rob loved to be outdoors, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his dog, Harley.

In addition to his mother, Rob is survived by the love of his life, Dawn Dickey; his siblings: Mary (Harry) Bodenhorn, Barb O'Brien, Dee (Fred) Birch, John (Tina) Cribbs, and Jim (Connie) Cribbs. Rob is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Rob was preceded in passing by his father, Arthur Cribbs.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at the Snyder – d'Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, beginning at 10 a.m. at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 607 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA, 15851. Final interment will take place at the St. Mary's Cemetery, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
