Carlos Velez Obituary
AGE: 56 •
Carlos R. Velez Sr., affectionately known as "Junior", departed this life on Thursday January 8, 2015. Carlos was born on December 20, 1958 to Roberto and Carmen Velez in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He attended the Vineland Public School System and graduated from Vineland Senior High School in 1978.
Carlos was a proud father of four boys; Carlos Velez Jr. (Maritza), Easton, Pa., Taylor Brown, Richland, NJ, Donovan and Dominic Velez, Carneys Point, NJ; two daughters; Latoya Bryson (Jeff) Vineland NJ; Crystal Milton (Reggie) Middletown, DE; one brother, Ricky Velez of Vineland, NJ and one sister, Wanda Sanchez (Rodney) of Vineland, NJ; eight grandchildren, and companion Mija Taylor of Perkiomenville, PA. He will also be missed by his favorite cousin, Joey of Connecticut who is more like a brother; his "Ride or Die best friend", Paul (Paulie) Kitchen, Sharon Brooks-Velez, who still held a special place in his heart along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles and friends.
The services will be held 11am Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Voice of Deliverance Church, 1413 E. Chestnut Ave. Vineland, NJ. Viewing- 9-11am. Interment - Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. My heart felt condolesence goes out to the family of Carlos Verlez. May God bless and keep each and everyone. Ricky it's been along time. We use to ride bikes from Port Norris to come and visit with Junior and you. I am so sorry to hear about this. I will keep your family uplifted in prayer.
