Michael "Mike" Patrick Kelley, 64, of Dade City, FL, passed away while at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL on July 15, 2023. Mike was born on November 15, 1958 in Greenville, MI. He was the son of late Laverne "Pete" Kelley and his mother, who is still with us, Elva Kelley (Cooper). Mike graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, MI spring of 1976 and then went on to serve in the United States Navy from August 1976 through August 1980 where he served on the USS Spiegel Grove. After serving in the Navy, Mike returned home where he lived in Gowen, MI for many years and worked in the steel industry. Mike loved the outdoors and would spend most of his free time hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, bowling and golfing. While in the Navy Mike married the mother of his two sons, Gabriel Kelley and Lukas Kelley. Later in life he married Angela Kelley (Canales) where he gained his step-son John, and two step daughters Carmen and Taylor. Mike is survived by; mother Elva Kelley, wife Angela Kelley, son and daughter-in-law Lukas and Holly Kelley, step-children John, Carmen and Taylor, grand-daughter and her husband Chelsea and Sean Brandli, grand-son Gabriel Kelley II, and his two great-grand-daughters Willow and Lilly. Preceding him in death; father Pete Kelley, brother Brian Kelley and his son Gabriel Kelley. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge in Greenville, MI on October 7, 2023 from 1 pm until 4 pm. Mike's family would like to invite family and friends to come and share stories. Lunch will be provided.
