Claire Pratt Obituary
Claire was born on Sept. 24, 1943, in Norwich, to the late Leo and Jeanne Belisle. Claire was a 1961 graduate of NFA and later went on to work at the former Norwich State Hospital as a medical secretary until 1972.
In 1966, she married her beloved husband, James D. Pratt, who survives her.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Light Church in Estero, Fla. In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, Claire was a volunteer at Ledyard Center School during the 1980s. Claire had several hobbies which included crafting, painting, floral arranging, and jewelry making. Claire also loved musical theatre, Mystic Maritime Gallery events, wintering in Florida, and especially loved cats
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two beloved sons, Douglas of Ledyard and Benjamin of Los Angeles, Calif., along with his wife, Irene, and son, Andrew.
There are no calling hours.
Horizon Funeral Home of Fort Myers, Fla., is in charge of the arrangements which will be private.

Our thoughts are with you Doug and your entire family during this difficult time. She was a wonderful lady, and it was an honor to know her. Now she's a piece and in no more pain.
