Peter Lennon Obituary
He was born in Dundee, Scotland, to the late Peter and Jane (Shepherd) Lennon. He came to America with his parents at the age of 12. On May 14, 1966, in Cheshire, he married his beloved wife Maureen (Hyde), who survives him. Together they had three children and two grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, at Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, with burial immediately following at East Lyme Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Please omit flowers. Donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.

So many great memories Peter the time in PA. when the Amish buggy took off with the 4 of us in the back! The other at the youth camp in RI. when you, Spiro, Carl, Charlie all added regular dish soap to the automatic dishwasher! Thanks for all the laughs.

My Dear Maureen, Our family was so saddened to hear of Peters passing. Peter is a wonderful man and you two made the perfect couple.
I never met a happier husband and wife! You were two of the nicest neighbors that we ever had and Clifton Place will never be the same. I will forever miss Peter's Scottish brogue I could listen to him talk for hours. May God bless you and your family during this very sad and heartbreaking time

My condolence to the Lennon family. I met Peter at New London Federal when I was a Teller Trainee and he was the Head Teller. He later with hard work rose up to be President of the bank.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Maureen and your family. Peter was a pleasure to be around. I enjoyed caring for him during my stay and will never forget his smile and the walks we would take with Abby. God love him he really enjoyed a hot fudge Sunday. Rest in peace Peter and may the heavenly gates welcome you with open arms and may you be reunited with all your departed loved ones.
