Thank you for making me feel welcomed and part of YOUR family.
I will miss our late night conversations on historical battles and facts, or the occasional old black and white movie. I learned more about John Wayne then I ever really needed to know about, but still enjoyed that time together.
I also learned that you were a fighter. When most would have given up you plugged along always with a smile on your face or a quick joke from your heart.
Now Chief, your tour of duty is over. Your voyage to the beyond has begun. Rest in peace my friend, for one day we will all be together again in paradise.
