Jose Massagli Obituary

SALAMANCA - Jose A. Massagli, 87, of Salamanca, died Sunday morning (Sept. 5, 2021) at home, following a long illness.

Born Dec. 2, 1933, in Argentina, he was the son of the late Adolfo and Maria Palacio Massagli. He was married Feb. 23, 1985, in Puerto Rico, to the former Eufemia Polo, who survives.

Mr. Massagli was a laborer in the construction/carpentry industry in Florida for over 15 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also liked professional soccer and supporting his former home team in Argentina.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Michelle (Derrick) Massagli-Monroe of North Carolina and Leslie (Matthew) Massagli-Kuhaneck of Salamanca; three sons, Luis Jimenez, Jose Massagli and Oscar (Robyn George) Massagli, all of Salamanca; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.
