Cindy Stewart Obituary

Cindy Kay Stewart, beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt cousin, and friend to many has gone to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023

Cindy was born to Iona Mae Hyvl of Madisonville, Texas and Eugene Stewart of Bryan, Texas January 5th, 1965.

Cindy was a lifelong resident of Bryan Texas until she moved to Iowa in 2020.

She was an accountant at Texas A&M University for almost 30 years before retiring in 2020.

Cindy enjoyed gardening, cooking reading books and watching her favorite TV show Ancient Aliens.

Cindy is proceeded in death by her mother, Iona Mae Hyvl of Madisonville, Texas. Her father, Eugene, Stewart of Bryan, Texas and her sister, Georgia Ann Stewart also of Bryan Texas..

She is survived by her son, Jamison Cody Stewart his wife Tiffany Stewart, and grandson Theo Stewart of Lebanon, Oregon. Her sister, Dorothy Louise Redmond of Indianola, Iowa sister, Robyn Heath of Houston Texas and stepfather Alton Hyvl of Madisonville, Texas Also her Aunt Linda Schultz of Bryan, Texas, uncle Jerry Stewart of Waco,Texas, along with many nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.

Cindy passed away in the care of Lutheran hospital in Des Moines Iowa where she was cared for and loved by her sister Dorothy. Services for her family in Bryan Texas will be held at a later date at Smetana cemetery.

Cindy will be forever missed forever, loved, and always in our thoughts and hearts. Rest in peace my beloved sister.
