Mark A. Davis, 52, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at The University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. Visitation: 4 â€" 7 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point, Iowa. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the funeral home. Celebration of Life: 5 â€" 8 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at American Legion Post #279, Center Point. Mark was born August 8, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Steven and Joan (Chrisman) Davis. He graduated from Center Point Urbana High School in 1990. On October 7, 2000, Mark was united in marriage to Angela Bauer at First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. Mark worked for Worley Warehousing until 2013. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Mark took great pride in taking care of the lawn and his property. Above everything, Mark loved his family and the time he spent with his children. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed. Mark is survived by his wife, Angela Davis; children, Taryn and Dakota Davis; parents, Steven and Joan Davis; brothers, Todd (Mary) Davis and, Jason (Teresa) Davis; mother-in-law, Judy Bauer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and father-in-law, Edmund Bauer. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial fund that has been established.
