John Barden Obituary
John M. Barden, age 86 years, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County with his loving family by his side.
Born in Joliet and a life-long resident. He was the owner and operator of NEDRAB Company of Joliet until he retired. Member of the Irving AC.
Preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Sarah (nee Staley) Barden; and his son, Michael John Barden.
Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Delores C. (nee Helmle); one daughter, Sally (Bob Lardi) Pasteris; eight grandchildren, Giovanni (Kate) Pasteris, Nichole (Nick) Pasteris-Orlando; Heather, Michael, Kristina, Todd (Lauren), Bryce and Rayna Barden; seven great-grandchildren; his loyal campanion, Molly B; numerous nieces and nephews. John was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather and a loyal and generous friend to many. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Per John's wishes, private cremation rites will be accorded.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name to the Friends of Sunny Hill, 421 Doris Ave. Joliet, IL 60433 or Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431 would be appreciated.
