She attended school in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1945. Eloise and Alan lived in Overton, before moving to Grand Island for several years and later moved back to Lexington. Eloise moved to Hastings in 2000 after her husband passed away so she could be closer to her daughter. While living in Grand Island, she worked for the Army Ammunition Plant and, after returning to Lexington, worked at Lexington Communications, retiring in 2000. Eloise's hobbies included quilting, sewing, reading and gardening. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, leaving a legacy of strength, courage and love to her family.
