1932 - 2021

Patricia Knox, 89, of Grand Island, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Bickford Cottage.
A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Daniel Naranjo will officiate. Livestreaming will be available on Pat's obituary page at All Faiths Funeral Home Website. Her family will be greeting friends an hour before service time. Private family burial of ashes will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designations.
Pat was born April 11, 1932, at Stapleton, the daughter of Heber and Freda (Anderson) Breiner. The family moved to Grand Island in 1936. Pat graduated from Grand Island Senior High with the class of 1949. She was united in marriage to Harold Knox in Sept. 1949. This union was blessed with three children, Terry, Cheryl and Stanley.
They farmed near Alda. Her husband, Harold, died June 11, 1980. Shortly after, Pat moved to Grand Island. She worked for Jack-n-Jill on Second Street for 28 years. Later she worked at the mall for Country Cottage and Sugar Bakers.
Her loves were fashion, decorating, gardening, flowers, socializing, her coffee group meeting at McDonald's on Wednesday afternoons and dancing. Her greatest treasure was her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Terry (Bob) Rathman of Cairo and Cheryl (Doug) Ward of Grand Island; five grandsons, Jason Rathman, Kurt (Jennifer) Rathman, Coby (Jaime) Rathman, Conor (Allison) Ward and Derek Ward; great-grandchildren, Grace, Karsen, Colton, Bladen, Gage, Lynlee, Anabelle, Hoyt and Evalyn; brother, Albert "Bud" (Vicky) Breiner; and sisters, Wanda Kingry, Beverly Troester, Bonnie (Cliff) Arnold and Cheryl "Cherie" (Merrill "Butch") Ehlert.
She is preceded in death by her husband; a son, Stanley; her parents; a sister, Billie Hegler; and two infant brothers, Charles and James.
