Dorothy Lee Jerles, 90, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at her residence.
Dorothy was born on November 4, 1926, in Clarksville, TN to the late Earnest Williams and Mamie Elizabeth Baggett Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Howard Jerles; son, George Jerles; and daughter, Patsy Ann Jerles.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Howard Jerles officiating. Burial will be at Grace Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Thomas (Gaby) Jerles and Howard (Christine) Jerles; daughter, Betty (Doug) Roberts; her grandchildren that she raised, Tommy Jerles and Melinda (Esteban) Palacio; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of AseraCare Hospice and her caregivers, Jennifer Klein and Dorothy Bishop, for the wonderful care given to Ms. Jerles.

A wonderful aunt .....a woman that care so deeply it hurt sometimes ...she made sure two little girls went to church..had clean bodies and clothes and ate at around family table ....today when looking at old photos the table looks so small but back then the table always had room for one more plate and one more chair or stool to sit upon.....and many a new prayer was said at each meal served
