Thomas Corbin Obituary
Clarksville - Thomas Edward Corbin age 75 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday December 16, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born August 26, 1942 in Clarksville, the son of the late James William Corbin and Evelyn Sisk Corbin.
Mr. Corbin is a 1961 graduate of Clarksville High School and while there he was the Wildcat mascot. He farmed for many years and later became the owner and operator of Ribs and Burgers for many years. Mr. Corbin is a member of the Kirkwood Baptist Church and was known to be the best "Papaw". Many people called him Papaw.
He is survived by his Life Partner Lynda Thompson of Clarksville; children Mary Kim Miller of Clarksville; Timothy "Tim" Corbin (Melinda) of Clarksville; Traci Wilson (Brandon) of Clarksville; Rick Thompson (Karen) of Clarksville; and David Thompson (Janice) of Clarksville. He is also survived by brothers James Corbin of Gainesville, GA; William Corbin of Knoxville; and Richard Corbin of Clarksville; and a sister Jean Alder of Marshall, TX. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his beloved dog Abby.
The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 6:00 PM at First Baptist Church Kirkwood Campus, with Chad Scardro officiating. Visitation with the family will began at 4:00 PM until the time of service.

Thomas is a great man. He always made me laugh when he came into my store. As I would truly enjoy our conversations. He has a great heart. He is gone home and I know I will see him again and have those great conversations. My condolences for your lost. May the good Lord guide you every day and give you peace to know he is home.
