Carl Cole Obituary

Eagle Lake Police OfficerEAGLE LAKE -- Mr. Carl W. Cole of Eagle Lake died of lung failure Tuesday (June 7, 2005) at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. He was 47.Born in Lima, Ohio, on Sept. 17, 1957, he came to Eagle Lake from Illinois in 1974. He was an Eagle Lake police officer for many years and a Polk County 911 dispatcher. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a Baptist.Mr. Cole is survived by his mother, Susan Cole, Eagle Lake; brother, David Cole, Eagle Lake; sister, Catina Skipper, Lakeland. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel.
