Gary Kriston Obituary
WINTER HAVEN - Gary A Kriston, 75 died on 6/28/10 of renal failure.
Mr. Kriston was born April 22, 1935 in Omar, West Virginia. He came to Winter Haven from West Virginia in 1946. Gary was owner/operator of W.M. Kriston & Son, which was an underground construction company. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church also a 32 degree mason. As a member of the US Army Green Beret he served in the Korean conflict.
He was preceded in death by wife Kathryn Kriston. Survived by daughter Michelle Murphy, Plano, TX; Step-daughter Cherie Johnson, Jacksonville; brothers Ed Kriston, Haines City and Donnie Kriston, Winter Haven; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visit: 7/2/10 at 10-11 am at Steel's Family Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral to follow at 11 am at Steele's Chapel. Interment: Lakeside Memorial Park.
