SELLERS, II, 65

LAKELAND - Jack M. E. Sellers II, 65, of Lakeland, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 due to cancer.
He was born to the late Jack and Mary Louveeda Sellers on November 22, 1947, in Albemarle, NC. Jack graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School. He joined the U.S. Marines where he was appointed Honorman of his platoon in 1968. He severed honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Jack worked as an air traffic controller until the strike of 1981. Jack worked also worked as a devoted employee for Saddle Creek Corporation.
Jack served loyally as the North Florida State President of the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club of which he was a member for 9 years. Jack proudly helped to grow and promote Wreaths Across America, remembering and honoring service men and women laid to rest at Bushnell National Cemetery.
Jack leaves behind his significant other of 13 years, Robin Bischoff. Jack is also survived by three children: Andrea Shepherd, Amanda Gold-en, and Vanessa Sellers. He leaves behind three grandchildren: Jenna Musselman, Jack Shepherd, and Grant Shepherd. Jack is also survived by his sister, Priscilla Gilbert, and nephew, Shane Gilbert.
A visitation will be held from 10AM to 12PM on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 2PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that sponsorship of wreaths be made to Wreaths Across America in memory of Jack M.E. Sellers II, located at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell and sponsoring group of FLUSMVMC01-US Military Vets Motorcycle Club. www.wreathsacrossamericabushnell.com
