JOAN FULLERTON Obituary

JOAN
FULLERTON, 79

LAKELAND - Joan Fullerton, 79, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014, due to natural causes.
Born Joan Marie Weaver on January 25, 1935 in Punxsutawney, PA, she grew up and married her high school sweetheart, Russ Fullerton. Married for 59 years they shared a life together. Moving from Punxsutawney to Lock Haven, PA in 1955 they raised two daughters. She worked as a bookkeeper for Piper Aircraft. After moving to Lakeland in 1975, Joan worked for Snow Martin for a time.
She enjoyed dancing, even though Russ has two left feet. An avid reader and crossword puzzler in later years, she always seemed to know all the words. Russ and Joan enjoyed many cruises from Alaska to the Caribbean as well as Europe. A wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, a best friend to her daughters and soul mate to her husband, she will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Marie Weaver and her grandson Taylor Fullerton Lindgren. Joan is survived by her husband, Russell Fullerton, daughter and son in law, Debra Fullerton and David Lindgren and daughter and son in law, Donna and David Stewart, as well as two grandchildren, Jenna Werner (Jason) and Kelly Crews (Justin) and two beautiful great granddaughters, Dylan and Avery Crews.
Family will receive friends at Heath Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 5:30pm to 7pm.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.heathfuneralchapel.com

Oh, Joan. You will be missed. We are honored to have known you. Your laughter and insight was always a joy to be around. You and Russ raised two beautiful, bright and fun loving daughters whom we cherish and count as lucky to have as friends. They in turn found husbands of whom you could not be more proud. The granddaughters and great-granddaughters are shining examples of the best of you. You are reflected in each generation that follows and the world is a better place because of you. Blessings and peace to you and all of yours. The entire family is in our hearts. Love Always.
