Jack - you will be missed. Your wisdom and help with remembering things that happened in Lakeland in the past were appreciated. May you rest in peace and may your family and loved one hold you in their hearts and remember the wonderful times you shared.

I was privileged to know Jack during the years I worked for the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce. We shared space with GSOC and Jack always made a point to stop by my desk when he was in the office just to say even a quick hello! I loved his smile, his compassion, his passion and how much he loved his family. I especially enjoyed seeing how much JOY Janice brought into his life! He will be missed, and my heart goes out to his family!

I feel lucky to have been able to meet Jack during the time he supported having major synchro swim events come to Gainesville. Once he spotted my Lakeland YMCA Flamingo Synchro jacket at a meet, he made a point to strike up a conversation. Gainesville was lucky to have him as part of their community. Prayers are lifted for his grieving family and friends.
