Jose Puente Obituary
Joe was married to Elvia H. Puente and together they raised three children: Diana Lynda (Carlos) Alejos, Edward Daniel Puente and David Joe (Aminta) Puente. He is remembered by five grandchildren: Charles, Eric, Katherine, Michael and Ryan; and four great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Tomas, Ava Louise and Noah. He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife: Elvia H. Puente; siblings: Maria De Jesus, Francisca, Lorenza, Rosa, Margarita and Julio.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc. in McAllen. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in downtown McAllen. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen.

I'm thankful for my Tio Joe's life. He had a heart to help his family and extended family. It is a legacy that continues in Lynda, Eddie, David, and extended family. I'm still hearing of his kindness. His life left us with beautiful memories for years to come. Thank you Tio for sharing great memories at your home and South Padre Island! God bless your legacy more!
