He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ricardo and Florencia Barrera, Lorenza Mireles; a cousin, Manuel Rivera; the mother of his children, Amanda Vera.
Luis is survived by his five children, Isabella Marie, Abcde Rose, Isaac Anthony, Lindsay Nicole, Ashley Renne; parents, Ricardo Jr. and Monica Barrera; siblings, Sandra Barrera, Sonia Barrera, Samuel (Clara A.) Barrera all of San Juan, Ricardo (Marcie) Barrera III, Regina Barrera both of Idaho; his nephews and nieces, Alberto Solis Jr., Francisco Solis, Katelynn Barrera, Anyssa Solis, Samuel Barrera Jr., Mila Allison Barrera; his aunt, Inocencia Moreno of McAllen; his Godmother, Juanita D. Herrera of San Juan; numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with 7 p.m. rosary, today, September 28, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
