Ruben Diaz Obituary
Mr. Diaz was the best husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He worked for Varmicon Industries for 37 years, until his retirement in 1998.
Mr. Diaz is preceded in death by his parents, Audencio and Cruz Diaz, three sisters, and two brothers.
Mr. Diaz. is survived by his wife, Emma of 55 years; children, Sandra D. Garza (Tony), Ruben Jr. (Sylvia), Linda (Jaime), and Thomas (Michelle); grandchildren, Troy Garza, Daedra Rivera (Noe), Eliza Renee and Krystal Hope Diaz, Mandy, Niki, Alexys, Gabby and Ally, and siblings, Rey Diaz Sr.; sister, Eva Trevino and very special in-law's, Carlos (Elodia) Martinez, Roy (Donna) Martinez, Ricardo (+Josie) Ochoa, Gloria (Johnny) Hernandez, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm today Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, July 29, 2016, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Peñitas, Texas. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas.
Funeral services are under the direction of the Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, Texas.
