It is hard to discribe my feelings about Jim. He was a true gentleman. It was an honor
to work with and for him in North Dakota and Michigan.

Dear Uncle Jim was a gentle soul. He was always surrounded by family. I know that he gained comfort in the caos of children and grandchildren just like his father. We will miss you dearly.

I am so sorry that I was in error about N Dakota date, it was 1968 not 1978. When we lived in Manteno, IL Lucille never failed to stop and visit.

Jim and Lucille were great friends and I often thought of them. Jim was a toolpusher for Calvert on my first job as a driller just south of Newton, Illinois. Jim was transferred to North Dakota and I to Oklahoma. I request to be transferred to ND in 1978, Jim and Lucille invited my family to stay with them until we could find a place to live. They were very generous and giving.
May God bless his soul.
