Timothy Hoffman Obituary
Visitation celebrating the life of Timothy Edward Hoffman, 43, of Haughton, LA will be held Friday, June 13, 2014, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 14, 2014, at New Light Baptist Church Cemetery, 2477 Prairie Road, Monroe, LA, with Pastor Gary Bankston officiating.
Tim went home to his new heavenly home, Tuesday June 10, 2014 at his home in Haughton LA. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Hoffman, and in-laws, Ted and Pat Hutches. Survivors include, wife, Mary Beth Hoffman and 9 year old daughter, Mary Grace Potter - Hoffman and mother, Reba Hoffman. Brother and his wife, Brian and Mary Jo Hoffman and their children, Logan and Madison. Brother-in-law, Tim Hutches, his wife Billie and sister-in-law, Sherrie Thibodaux and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a huge group of friends.
After retiring from Walmart, Tim became involved in the movie industry, becoming an extra in several feature films and independent films too. Most recently he was a featured extra in Camping Buddies.
Tim was an amazing husband and a wonderful daddy. He was our rock. Tim was bigger than life and had a special walk with the Lord. He had some very special friends who had a huge impact of his life, Baretta Simmons, Timothy Wyatt, and Joe Wheeler, thank you for always being there for him.
The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the Haughton Fire Department members, Haughton Police Department, our neighbors and all Tim's friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to family for his expenses at any Chase Bank location.

7/15/14 Mary Beth, Grace, Reba and Brian & family: I am deeply sadden from hearing the loss of Tim. We all know what an amazing man and friend he was to many. As we are all children of God I believe he is with his maker and forgiveness for all are accepted. Many blessings and prayers to you all for healing. So many memories. Go Steelers! Tim did a fantastic job in
"Campin' Buddies". He did a performance that will make anyone proud. I so appreciate his hard work in the film. My prayers go out to his family.

We only got to know Tim for a few days on "Campin' Buddies", but he blessed us in even that short time. The loss I am feeling must be so small compared to you who knew him well, my heart aches for you and prays for you all.
