Bernice Jeske Obituary
Bernice Theresa Fritsch Jeske (nee Piecuch), age 95 of rural Redgranite, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, June 15, 2016 at her home in the Town of Leon.
She was born April 27, 1921 in Abrams, Wisconsin, near Green Bay, a daughter of John and Tilly (Wresola) Piecuch. Bernice married LeRoy Arthur Fritsch when she was 21 years old. They were happily married for 18 years until Arthur's passing in 1964. Bernice married Thomas Martin Jeske on July 12, 1973 in Milwaukee. He preceded Bernice in death on June 26, 2011 after 38 years of marriage.
Following her marriage to Le Roy, Bernice moved to the Town of Greenfield (Milwaukee). She lived there until 1970. She and her husband, Tom lived in the Milwaukee area until 1970, when they built a home in Richford, near Wautoma. Bernice and Tom built their home in the Town of Leon, rural Redgranite in 1976. Bernice has lived there since that time.
Bernice enjoyed cooking, eating out (especially fish fries), gardening, and watching birds. A quiet person, she especially loved and enjoyed being with her family.
Survivors include 3 sons, William Fritsch of Wautoma, Le Roy Fritsch of rural Redgranite, and Richard Fritsch of Slinger, and a daughter, Sandra (Bob) Mager of Milwaukee. Bernice is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy, her husband, Thomas, a son, Frank Fritsch, and her brothers and sisters, Manda (Joe) Miller, Helen Motel, Bruno, Frank, and Leo Piecuch.
Funeral Services for Bernice Jeske will be held Next Week Saturday, JUNE 25th. at 1:00 P.M. at the Ruminski Funeral Home in Redgranite. (PLEASE NOTE THE DATE.) Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 25th., one hour prior to the time of Services at the funeral home.
Following the Services, Bernice will be laid to rest beside her husband, Thomas in the Redgranite Foster Road Cemetery.
Memorials in memory of Bernice will be appreciated for the American Cancer Society in place of flowers.

Love you and miss you so very much Grandma. May you rest in peace. Ninety-Five years...WOW! You will not have to be in pain or sick anymore, I'm pretty sure that GOD will not have a problem with you growing a garden in the "back forty". Love You.
