My wife and I had the privilege of meeting Jim at the WWII reunions in Texas and Mississippi (attending with my father in law Paul Henson, who served with Jim). He was a wonderful guy and a true example of the Greatest Generation.

I had the pleasure of caring for Mr. mulligan as of recent. He was such a pleasure to be around and always put a smile on my face. As a nurse, you care for numerous people day in and day out, and some people just leave lasting impression in your heart; James was one of those for me. I truly admired his love for his family and wife. All very good people! May god wrap his arms around the entire mulligan family through these tough times.

Sad news. My memories of Joe (and Shirley) are mainly from childhood when I would go along with Mom and Dad (Ethel & Lou Briggs) to visit. The Mulligan kids were older so there was no one for me to play with but Joe always had something to occupy me... whether it was Ronnie's forgotten Hot Wheels or even letting me use the pool table in the basement. "Careful with that pool stick" Dad would say... There was always a pop and snack for me too. I remember thinking what a cool house and what nice people. I will always cherish those distant memories.

Jim was a wonderful man, who honorably served his nation and supported veterans in many ways,. A family man, he was thoughtful, friendly and positive. He will be missed, yet fondly remembered.

To The Family Of Mr. Mulligan, I'm sorry for your loss. The Mulligan family were long time neighbors to us, the King family. I'm reminded of many fond and supportive memories of Mr. Mulligan. My thoughts are with his family at this time. My condolences.
