APEL, MARY THERESE; of Ortonville; died October 7, 2014. She was. Born May 16, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Anthony and Florence (nee: Finch) Yagley. She is survived by 3 sons, Gregory (Debbie) Apel, George Paul (Barb) Apel and David (Patricia) Apel; 3 daughters, Mary Therese “Terri” (David) Andrews, Jennifer (Dennis) Burton and Suzanne (Jeffrey) Kunz; 2 daughters-in-law, Christine Apel and Pamela Apel-Bishop; 1 sister, Regina Locke; 1 brother, Thomas Yagley; also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren; special friends of Phyllis and Olen Kerr. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Apel; and 1 son, Bruce Apel. Therese was a member of the Red Hat Society Ortonville Red Hat Chicks. Mass of the Resurrection will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at St. Anne Catholic Church (825 S. Ortonville Rd., Ortonville). Fr. Gerard Frawley, Celebrant. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at COATS VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME - Ortonville and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
