Jack Dorsey

1934 - 2017

Jack C. Dorsey passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2017 at age 83. Born July 7, 1934 in Wilkinsburg, PA, Jack was the son of Margaret (Jones) and Curtis Dorsey. Jack grew up in Pittsburgh with his large, extended family. He resided in Lansdale with his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Anne (Weible) Dorsey. Jack was the loving father of Liz Bufo (Mike) and Bruce Dorsey (Jennie). He was the cherished grandfather of Christian Bufo, Jake Bufo, Hannah Dorsey, Aaron Dorsey and Benjamin Dorsey. Jack is survived by his sister, Carol Jean Carter and was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Dorsey. Jack graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of the American Association of Electrical Engineers and retired from Merck & Co. His world revolved around his family, especially his grandchildren. Jack enjoyed sports, golf and playing cards. Relatives and friends are invited to Jack’s Life Celebration at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 W.
