Richard Heck Obituary

RICHARD HECK Richard F. Heck, 85, a resident of North East Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Silver Stream Center, Springhouse. Born in Paxtang, Richard was the son of the late Walter and Edith Heck. From 1944 until his honorable discharge in 1946, Richard was proud to have served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was stationed in the South Pacific. He was a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Art. Later, Richard became an illustration artist working for RCA and Tony Lee and Associates. Richard is survived by two sons, Richard and his wife, Ginger Sweeney, and Thomas and his wife, Karen; and two grandchildren, Sean and Meghan. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Frances C. Heck. Services will be held privately. Memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, http://www.alz.org supporting research on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
