Donna,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's death. Pat and I were in Energy & Herrin last Thanksgiving and when we drove past your old house, I wondered if your mother was still living there. It appears from what I've read in her obituary that she was living near you in Texas. You are to be commended for caring for your mother in her last years. That could not have been an easy task for you. But I know you love her and God doesn't give us tasks that we can't handle. :o)
We went from being such close friends in high school to losing touch when we became adults and married and moved to separate states. The distance doesn't have to keep us apart. I truly enjoyed seeing you at our 30th high school reunion in 2002 and would love to keep in touch with you and catch up. Please respond to this email. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
Love,
Debbie

Donna, you do not know me but I certainly knew your Mom and Dad when I lived in Enegy and attended the Methodist church. June played the piano and I loved to see her come in because she always had something pretty to wear and of course she was a beauty. I met Bill when he came back from service and attended High School and he was so much fun. I moved from Energy in l951 so you know I have alot of great memories when we all were so young. God Bless you for being such a wonderful daughter.

Donna,
Although we haven't been in contact much, I wanted you to know that you are still in my thoughts and prayers. I know you have spent the last few years taking care of your parents, and that can be very difficult physically and emotionally when they are ill, both for you and for them. Take great comfort in knowing that being there for your parents made these last few years of their lives more comfortable.
