My Deepest sympathy to the Buchanan family. I began working at stateville in '02 and was soon working directly for Buck. He was my direct supervisor for about two years. During this time Buck was not only a mentor but also a good friend. We spent a lot of time at the stateville dorm on the third floor battling over the pool table. It has been an honor to call Buck my friend. There will never be another like him. God Bless.

Much love and sympathy to Paul's family. Paul and I were very close friends during high school, we even went to prom together "back in the day".
Again, I extend my sympathy to the Buchanan family and pray your strength in the Lord.

My Deepest Sorrow For Your Loss,
I worked with Lt. Buchanan at Stateville from 1993 to 1997. He went out of his way to teach me the ropes and show me what it meant not to loose compassion in such a terrible place. He was a great friend and a wonderful Officer. Godspeed K-3-33 and God Bless You and yours.

To Aunt Becky and Family

Dear Aunt Becky:

Our deepest sympathy and prayers goes out to you and the entire family. Paul was a beautiful young man who spoke his mind and spoke from his heart.

Like most Buchanan's he was straight forward and direct in his message and he was quite clear in his meaning. Let us celebrate his life with a joyful noise and praise his homecoming.

Regardless of fears and or favors, Paul was his own man. We shall truly miss you Paul and we know that you are in the palm of the Lord's hands.

In loving memory,

Phillip, Pam Buchanan, J'Nai, Maurice Buchanan
