Dara Ann Tancredi

St. George - Dara was a vivacious, energetic firecracker with an endless zest for life. She was fiercely protective of her family and friends and never left home without her big heavy purse. She was a patron of the arts who was on the boards of Tuacahn and the Cleveland Opera for many years, on top of being a real estate visionary and retired lawyer. She was deeply loved by her friends at Entrada, where she headed the design & review committee for over 15 years. She volunteered as a judge in the Snow Canyon High School debate program and raised money to support its students.

In addition to being a fantastic mother, Dara was an adept golfer. She proudly kept five golf champion trophies on her desk and spent nearly every day on the course when she was able. She was a gourmet cook, always willing to try new recipes while looking for a bargain. Once she had so many coupons, the cash register crashed.

When dying, she was asked to list her accomplishments. She answered: "I don't need validation from anyone. Remember me as a good wife and mother!" She was, to those who knew her, a true force of nature. "My love give me a thousand kisses, then a hundred, then a thousand more." - Catullus

Dara is survived by her sister, Dana Eckstrand; brother, Nick Tancredi; and her two children: Regina Grogan and Timothy Grogan. She is also survived by her husband, Timothy Grogan, Sr.
