Paul Bedell Obituary
CROSSVILLE, TN - Dr. Paul Frank Bedell, Sr., 78, of Crossville, TN, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Cumberland Medical Center.
January 1, 1937 in Youngstown, OH, he was born to the late Paul Lyons Bedell & Mazie Price Bedell. Paul was a graduate of Burris High School in Muncie, Indiana; Kenyon College of Ohio; and University of Indiana Medical School.
Dr. Bedell spent his career as a Medical Doctor and Flight Surgeon in the United States Navy, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-six years, Johanne Bedell of Crossville; sons, Mike Bedell (wife, Patty) of Georgia, Mark, Charles, and James Saxe, all of California; daughter, Sheila Bedell of Florida; grandchildren, Emily, Houston, and Kathleen Brother, Howard Bedell of Texas; and sister, Maryann Raffety of Florida.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by two sons, Paul Frank Bedell, Jr. and Steven Bedell.
Memorial services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Monday, March 30, 2015 with Rev. Moses Han officiating.
