Victor McFall Obituary

Victor E. McFall

Victor E. McFall was born on June 6, 1952 in Mattoon, IL, to Lucille (Zimmer) and Wilson McFall. He graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1971, and entered the United States Marine Corps., where he served as a jet mechanic. He met, and married, Kelli Lacy (Hammond), with who had his three children. He retired from Kirby Risk in 2009, where he worked for 10 years as a trade skilled mechanic winder, and studied Culinary Arts at Ivy Tech Community College. He knew no stranger and was a friend to all who knew him. He was a very giving and loving Godly man, who enjoyed the outdoors and camping. He rarely went anywhere without a smile on his face, and his beloved pup, Sassy, by his side.

Victor went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29th, 2021. He is survived by his three children, Jonathan McFall, Cory McFall (wife, Tarina), and Elizabeth McFall; two grandchildren, Josiah McFall (2) and Dillon McFall (10 months); two siblings, Patricia "Pat" Singleton (husband Bill), and Robert "Bob" McFall; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents, Wilson McFall and Lucille Click (husband Garland), and three siblings, Richard "Dick" McFall, Christine "Sissy" Gibson, and Jimmy McFall.

A Celebration of Life open house will be held on Sunday, June 6th, on what would have been his 69th birthday, at Howard Square Apartments, located at 550 S. Jefferson St. in Muncie. It will begin at 12pm and will end at 5pm. A prayer and eulogy will be recited, at 2:30pm, for those that would like to be present.

Roger and I, met Victor while living at the lofts ... where he introduced himself to me as "The Major" ... because he had already been deemed the "Go to guy" in the building should we have any problems, and, he really was. He really tried to help anyone who came to him with a problem. He was also great at playing cards ... and had a gift of getting us to laugh. The first time I met Roger, (who lived across the hall from Victor) was when Victor, I and another resident from the building, were Chatting in the community room and here comes (Roger, who I had no idea who he was) ... and he set down a plate with a big piece of pizza on it in front of Victor and just walked away without a word. I gave Victor a quizzical look and he said, he's a good neighbor. Then Roger came back with 2 more plates with pizza ... He and Roger were good friends. I count myself blessed to have been his friend as well. Many people in the building truly appreciated him. Roger and I will miss him. We both regret we could not be at his celebration of life today, (Roger had a miner surgery Friday). To all his family, mine & Rogers prayers are with you. Love n Peace to all

I went to school with Victor and graduated with him. I was very shy back then and he would probably wouldn't have remembered me. He was one of the really nice guys and was very sweet. My birthday is also Sunday and I shall remember Victor with a prayer for him.
