God rest the soul of my former math teacher at Columbia College and may His divine mercy give comfort to her family. How ironic that I was meeting with my college roomie for only the second time since graduation the day that I picked up the paper and learned of our gentle teacher's passing. My roomie was a match major and studied at her feet. God love you.

Dear family: I wanted you to know that my heart goes out to each of you at this time. I will keep you in my prayers in the coming days. Also, how much it meant to those who loved Bettye of your continued support after Keith's death. She was a lovely lady at all times and will be missed. Carol Frye (Former Activity Director from Presbyterian Community in Lexington).
