John was a kind, gentle & caring soul. He will contiunue to live through all of his family (especially his children), coworkers and friends.
The years we worked together in Children's Respiratory gave me many good memories of John keeping him alive in my memories and heart.
I will never forget that day several years after my last day at the Hospital when I ran into John in a store, as we did periodically, he asked about my elderly Grandma whom he had helped with maintaining her yard several times on his days off, and when I told him she had passed away his reply was a friend's empathetic sadness and a great big hug saying "She was so sweet and I know you'll miss her!". That was the John I knew, even when sitting together for my help with his charting - which usually ending with laughter at ourselves or funny stories of his kids or my son.
You will be missed and remembered sweet man!

I am honored to say that I know John as an caring professional at work and as a dear friend. His outgoing fun loving personality will be greatly missed pool side, in the kitchen , fishing, boating, watching college football, and during vacation trips. Gods speed sir. May peace and comfort come to your family.

John, I know this sounds like the same old stuff that people say but I truly feel very sad about your pain and suffering .. but I also feel good because those are not with you anymore.... they are no more. You are in God's heavenly grace and he will always be there for you. You will realize this and be happier than you have ever experienced on this earth. I loved and miss you so very much.

John was the definition of "care giving" in his professional life, through his friendships and through his many random acts of kindness. He saved and touched many lives as a respiratory therapist. He will greatly missed and my thoughts are with his family, his 3 children Kira, Collin and Zachary, as well as his girlfriend Cheryl. I will miss my buddy more than words can express.

This is a shock. I had not seen John in many years but appreciated the great care he gave to my son at Palmetto Richland. I have many great memories of John as well as the entire Huggins family and our younger days in Spring Valley. John was a great guy. Prayers to the family and saddened to learn of this loss.

So sad to hear about John's passing. Over the years, I would often catch up with John in the cafeteria at Richland Memorial. He was always talking about his family and looking forward to fishing after work. I haven't seen him in the last few years, but I always enjoyed catching up with him. Such a great guy. He will he missed.
