Richard Palazzo Obituary

PALAZZO Mr. Richard Joseph 'Rick' Palazzo, 58, of Damascus, died on Saturday evening, October 6, 2007, at Casey House, Rockville. He was the husband of Karen Marie Smith Palazzo, his wife of 22 years. Born March 13, 1949 in New Orleans, LA, he was the son of Mrs. Lottie Fae Selby Palazzo of Mandeville, LA, and the late Angelo Joseph 'Pete' Palazzo. He was a graduate of Louisiana State University and a United States Air Force Veteran. Survived by children Chris (Boni) Palazzo, Ryan (Katie) Palazzo all of LA and Steffany Palazzo of Damascus, grandchildren, Colin and Logan and siblings Dave of Texas and Kevin (Suzanne) Palazzo of LA and extended family, Lisa, Trey, Beck and Rod Barrett, Amy and Jonathan Colbert, all of Damascus. Services at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Rd., Damascus, on Wednesday, October 10th from 6pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 9250 Damascus Rd., Damascus on Thursday, October 11th at 10am. Rev. Kevin C. Kennedy will celebrate the Mass. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Casey House, care of Montgomery County Hospice Foundation, 6001 Muncaster Mills Rd., Rockville, MD 20855.
