Walter Nichols Obituary
Born on May 1, 1965, in Newberry he was a son of Minnie Culclasure Nichols and the late Walter Waddy Nichols, Sr. He was the former owner of Chapin Verizon Wireless and a member of Epting Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Nichols was a graduate of Newberry High School and attended Newberry College.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a sister, Susie Berry of Newberry and a nephew, Brian Berry.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Epting Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Inman. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Epting Memorial United Methodist Church Mission Fund or General Fund, 1401 Milligan Street, Newberry, SC 29108.

I didn't know your son but wanted to express my deepest symphathy in your loss. Cherish your memories and know that God will be with you all through the days ahead. I too lost my son in March at the same age and know first hand the pain you are going through. My heart goes out to you. May God comfort you.
