Guy Lombardo Obituary

Guy Lombardo Jr., 40, of Exeter, died June 10. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Clapps Lombardo. Wed on Sept. 17, 2007, the couple would have been married for eight years later this year.

Born in Kingston on March 4, 1975, son of Guy Sr. of Laflin and Mary Denise Weitz Lombardo of West Pittston, Guy was educated at Pittston Area High School. He earned his commercial driver's license before working as a truck driver, most recently for Latona Trucking of Pittston. He enjoyed driving trucks, loved his family, and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Also surviving are his daughters, Lexie Marie Lombardo, at home; Alysia and Elizabeth Lombardo, both of Wilkes-Barre; siblings, Joseph and Vincent, West Pittston; and Lisa Lombardo and fiance, Glenn Smith, Pittston; three nieces and three nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Parish, 35 William St., Pittston, to be celebrated by Monsignor John Bendik, pastor. Private interment, St. Cecelia's Cemetery, Exeter.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects Monday from 9-9:30 at the church. Arrangements under the care of Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge. Visit the funeral home website to leave a condolence.
