She had a lifetime appreciation for fashion and enjoyed dressing up, always accessorizing with the perfect hat.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her large family, who will miss her dearly. But, she will live on in them as they celebrate her long, joyful and blessed life.

Surviving are her children, Mark and wife, Mary, Lake Winola; Jack, Scranton; Colette Eisenbach and husband, Robert, Elmhurst; Paul and wife, Michele, Clarks Summit; Lisa Leshner, Scranton; Matthew, Aberdeen, Md.; Stephen and wife, Tara, Dunmore; and James, Brooklyn, N.Y.; as well as 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Clement, George and Ray; and sisters, Anna Flynn, Helen Murray and Florence Zabrauskas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Church, Penn Avenue and Marion Street, Scranton, by Monsignor Neil Van Loon, pastor. Entombment will be in the Cathedral Cemetery Mausoleum, Scranton. Anyone attending the funeral is asked to go directly to the church.

Dear Cooper Family,

I am very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. She truly was a wonderful woman and person. Growing up I spent a good amount of time at the Cooper house with Matt and Steve. Mrs. Cooper was just so wonderful to talk with. I remember sitting in the kitchen while she cooked. She was engaged in the conversations and showed a real interest in what was going on in our lives. She had an infectious smile and a positive attitude. Mrs. Cooper was always kind and welcoming. I cannot recall a time she did not offer food to her guests. Oh and the food she served.... what can I say? The meals were always a delight for your taste buds. I felt like I was part of the family when visiting the Cooper home. That had everything to do with Mrs. Cooper. I know she will be missed but I hope you can relish all the fond memories of her. She will live in your hearts and souls forever. I will be forever grateful for having known her and for the positive impact she had on my life.
