Rosemary Gallagher, 91, of Scranton, died Feb. 27 at Geisinger CMC. She was the widow of Terrence F. Gallagher Jr.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Florey Fiorani, she was a member of St. Paul's Church and a graduate of Marywood University. Rosemary worked in public relations at St. Joseph's Center, Allied Services and Lourdesmont. She also taught French at Lourdesmont and General Studies at St. Frances Cabrini School. She was an avid volunteer for the community as well as her church.
Surviving are her three daughters, Francine Gallagher and husband, John Deininger, Theresa Sallo and her husband, Bill Sallo, Trish Gallagher and her partner, Ken Marquis; son, Joseph Gallagher; her grandsons, Michael Paciorka and Maxx Gallagher.
Donations can be sent to the donor's choice. Acknowledgements may be sent to Trish Gallagher, 122 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
A private memorial service is being held by the family. Arrangements by McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1401 Capouse Ave., Scranton.
