David Abbott Obituary
Deckerville - David D. Abbott, age 54, of Deckerville, died unexpectedly Monday, January 14, 2019 in his home.
He was born October 13, 1964 in Deckerville, the son of Dale and Lois (Abend) Abbott.
On August 13, 1988 he married Miss. Sherry Peters in Palms, after serving five years in the Marine Corp.
David was a former employee of South Park Welding Supplies, a member of the Sickles-Arnold Legion Post 516 in Deckerville, and a member of the Sanilac Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising rabbits, and helping his neighbors.
He is survived by his wife Sherry, his parents Dale and Lois Abbott, his sister Teri (Thomas) Apsey, and his paternal grandmother Mrs. Irma (Grant) Abbott all of Deckerville. He is also, survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be sent to the Sanilac Sportsmen's Club in c/o the family at 4645 E. Downington Rd. Deckerville, MI 48427.
