Inez Burton Obituary
She was the wife of the Rev. Eli Burton, who survives, and the daughter of Mr. Lacy Murray and Mrs. Etta Crisp Murray, both deceased.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Orlando Burton (Angie), Fayedean Anderson (Clayton), Maxine Crisp and Cardelia Burton; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister; Evelyn Murray Mebane
She was preceded in death by two children, Marshall Murray and Margie Rogers; and siblings, Lacy Murray Jr. "Sonny-Boy", Wilbert Whitney Murray, Hattie Mae McBroom, Minnie Carter and Nephine Carr.
Public viewing at Sharpe Funeral Home Inc. will be Friday, March 4, 2016, from 1 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Arche's Grove UCC. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church from noon until 1 p.m. and at other times the family will receive visitors at the home of her son, Orlando, 3114 Peninsula Drive, Jamestown, NC.

My family, as I think and reflect on "nails" ( as we affectionately called her) life, it brings me such joy and happiness. She left with us some lasting memories that we must continue sharing. Her laugh always warmed our hearts and wasi inviting. I know that the other cloud of witnesses are rejoicing to meet with her especially her son and daughter, my brother and sister Margie and Marshall and Grandmother Etta and the list goes on. Good nighty Nail, we will see you on the other side love.❤

This is to let you all know first we love you all a precious one has gone from you all. Mrs Burton was such a sweet and wonderful lady,a voice we loved which can never be replaced just keep the faith and we will see her again I know my mother(Jeune Paylor) will not be at the funeral so I (Remonia Alston) am sending all her love to the family.
