Kathryn Loy Obituary
A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late William David Loy and the daughter of Kenneth McIntosh and Ina Coffin McIntosh, both deceased. She was the owner and operator of a hair salon and a member of Shamrock Evangelical Methodist Church serving in Sunday School and choir.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Loy Brusnighan and husband Joe of Greensboro; son, William David Loy, II of Hagerstown, MD; two grandchildren, Timothy Edward Brusnighan and Stephen Matthew Brusnighan and wife Barbara; niece, Lisa Fisk; and nephew, Clyde Fisk.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Her greatest joy was her family and her relationship with Jesus and she spent her life giving others comfort and help when needed. Her hours of intercession and prayer for others brought changes and hope to many hearts. She was a mother to many in the church and in the community.
