Richard Martin Sr. Obituary
He was born in Pittsylvania County, Va., son of the late James William Martin Sr. and Kathleen Lowery Martin. He was preceded in death by his son, Dale Morris; brothers, Roy L. Martin and Douglas E. Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Anderson Martin; sons, Richard Martin Jr., Curtis L. Anderson and Ricky Martin; daughters, Sheila M. Bradley, Chrystal G. Buchanan, Betty Hodges and Sandra Martin; brothers, James W. Martin Jr., Jerry W. Martin, Danny R. Martin, Bobby L. Martin and Jeffery D. Martin; sisters, Peggy A. Walker and Judy C. Hamadau; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 8 at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to Walker's Funeral Home.
Walker's Funeral Home, 304 W. Center St., Mebane, N.C. 27302 is assisting the Martin family.
