Vernon Fraize Obituary
A native of Methuen, Mass., he was the husband of Martha Baker Fraize, who survives, and son of the late Thomas Richard Fraize and Ione Glidden Fraize Melanson. He was a machine operator in printing and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Burlington. He was a longtime fan of NASCAR and the Boston Red Sox, an avid fisherman, and had a willingness to help anyone in need.
Surviving, other than his wife of the home, are three sons, Jason Scott Fraize and Kyle Michael Fraize, both of the home and Jeremy Paul Fraize and wife Christina of Taylors, S.C.; three grandchildren, Jacob, Mason and Hailey Fraize; three sisters, Debbie Fraize, Lisa Bedard and husband Mark, and Jody Pinelle and husband Brian all of N.H.; three brothers, David Fraize of Mass., Donnie Fraize and wife Sherry and Timothy Fraize, all of N.H.; one special aunt, Phyllis Glidden; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Richard Fraize Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 2, at the First Baptist Church of Burlington, with Dr. Terry Peele officiating. The family will greet friends in the Gathering Room of the Church from 1 to 2 p. m., prior to the service. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park.

When Western Publishing Co. shut down in 1995 my family and I moved back to the Chicago area. I made several trips back to visit with Vern and Hans and do some fishin. Martha, Vern and the boys opened up there house to me upon these visits and I very much miss these times. I’d bring Vern a case of Old Style beer, and we were good to go. He was an easy man to please. The pain of his loss persists, but thank God for the good memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of helping care for Vern during his stay at Liberty. He was such an inspiration, enjoyed the small talk we would have every morning. I know he will be missed. May God be with you through the weeks ahead.

Martha, Jason, Kyle - Joan and I are so very sorry for your loss. You all have been very good friends to us and we suffer the loss as well. Remember that Vern is now whole with The Lord and we will see him under the best of circumstances in eternity.

So sorry to hear of Verns passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Vern was a super guy with a huge heart. Always shared a laugh about anything when we were on sound system duties together at church. Definitely will miss him. -Doug Boon
