Casper P. "Jimmy" Kramer, III

A Mass of Christian Burial for Casper P. "Jimmy" Kramer, III, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in St. Rita Catholic Church, with Rev. Craig Scott officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville under the direction of John Kramer & Son.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Jimmy Kramer, 78, of Alexandria, passed away May 17, 2013, in Rapides Regional Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virginia Stafford Kramer and Casper Philip Kramer, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, DeeDee Kramer of Alexandria; three children, Virginia Ann Kramer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Amy Graham Kramer of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; Casper Philip Kramer, IV of Woodworth; four stepchildren, Karen Hubley; Laura Greene; Britt Bowman and Bill Bowman; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Graham and Don Kramer of Alexandria; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was a lifelong sportsman and a lover of the outdoors. He was a longtime member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He was Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Alexandria and Past Lt. Governor of Division 11 of Kiwanis International. He was Past President and Chairman of the Louisiana Cemetery Board.

Memorials may be sent to St. Rita Catholic Church, 3822 Bayou Rapides Rd., Alexandria, LA 71303.

Mr. Jimmy will be missed, he was a compassionate and caring representative of Kramers for both my parents funerals, but he also a great storyteller. I feel as though I have lost a friend.
