Daniel Turpin Obituary
Daniel Wayne Turpin, 46, of Morgan City passed away Monday July 4, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
Daniel was born March 15, 1965, in Alexandria, LA. He attended Bolton High School, and served in the Army National Guard. He lived in Alexandria until 1997, when he relocated to Morgan City, LA. He was employed by Mako Technologies in Morgan City.
Daniel enjoyed family gatherings, and he was a devoted father and son. He was a true Louisiana Sportsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his mother Robbie Babb Turpin, of Alexandria, LA; a daughter, Nicole Marie Perry, of Morgan City, LA; a brother, Donald William Turpin, of Keller, Texas; and a nephew, William Chadwick Redmon, of Keller, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father George Daniel Turpin.
Memorial Services for Daniel Wayne Turpin will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 in the chapel of John Kramer & Son. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Dan Turpin. You were a special man with a big heart. You gave your heart to my niece Nicole and loved her like she was your own flesh and blood. She will make you proud, your example of love has certainly molded her into a special person also. Thanks Dan?

Dan will be missed by all at the Mako family. He truly enjoyed coming to work everyday. We offen talk about his passion for Horses and racing. Dearest Turpin Family & Nicole,
I am so sorry for your loss. Daniel was a kind wonderful person to work with. He always shared a "please" n "thank you." I was really heart broken when I learned of this sad news. We are going to sincerely miss his winning smile, kind words, and warm heart. I will always remember him as a southern gentleman. I am going to search for some work pics to share with ya'll.

I considered you a son. You always said the reason I get up and come to work each morning is because of you....he was talking about how old I am...poking fun of me. He was always talking about baby girl...in the most loving way.
