Gary G. Lisowski, age 71, current resident of River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, February 4, 2021 at River's Bend.
Gary was born in Michigan on May 25th, 1949 to George and Harriet (Kingsley) Lisowski. He was a graduate of Barnes Co. North Central High School in North Dakota then furthered his education at Valley City State University where he earned a bachelors degree in business. Gary served his country during Vietnam with the 1st Tank/1st Marine Division as a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps. After honorable discharge he was employed for 27 years as a special agent with the United States Treasury Department until his retirement. Gary had a passion for motorcycles, and enjoyed riding his Harley. He also enjoyed fishing.
Gary is survived by his wife, Theresita Lisowski of Manitowoc; his children & grandchildren: Ryan Gronvold, (Ryan Jr.); Kent Gronvold, (Alexandra, Evan & Kane); Adam Lisowski, (Jaxson & Maddi), and Dan Lisowski, (Cameron). He is also survived by one sister, Karen Stone.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S. State Street, Mishicot. Rev. Jeff Briones will officiate at the service, with burial in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, Wisconsin.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, Saturday morning from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. Due to the pandemic, social distance guidelines will be followed and masks will be required.
